It is just from her moving eyes like a riddle
that for the first time I have heard thunder in the plateau
for the first time I have heard the sound of the dusk pushing the wooden door open
for the first time I have heard the sweet sigh of the fire pit
for the first time I have heard the sound of a water-like kiss under a scarf

It is just from her calm forehead
that for the first time I have seen the windstorms keeping coming from the distance
for the first time I have seen the flowers opening on rocks
for the first time I have seen the moonlight having dreamed her lover
for the first time I have seen the river pregnant in April

it is just from where her beautiful figure disappeared
that for the first time I feel sad and lonely
However, I will never forget that day
in a rainy morning in Mt. Daliang
a boy’s first love was taken to a remote place
