在我的故乡
我无法见证
一道土墙的全部历史
那是因为在一个瞬间
我无法亲历
一粒尘埃
从诞生到死亡的过程
哦，时间！
是谁用无形的剪刀
在距离和速度的平台
把你剪成了碎片

其实我们
不用问时间的起源
因为它从来
就没有所谓的开始
同样，我们也不用问
它的归宿在哪里?
因为在浩瀚的宇宙
它等同于无限
时间是黑暗中的心脏
它的每一次跳动

都如同一道闪电
它是过去、现在和未来的桥梁
请相信，这并非上帝的意志
仿佛是绝对的真理
当时间离开了我们
它便永远不再回头

所有的生命、思想和遗产
都栖居在时间的圣殿
哦，时间！
最为公平的法官
它审判谎言
同时它也伸张正义
是它在最终的时刻
改变了一切精神和物质的
存在形式
它永远在死亡中诞生
又永远在诞生中死亡
它包含了一切
它又在一切之外
如果说在这个世界上
有什么东西真正的不朽
我敢肯定地说：那就是时间！

    Time

In my native place
I am unable to witness
the entire history of a wall
Because I am unable
to experience, in a flash, by myself
the course of a grain of dust
from birth to death
O, time!
Who has cut you into pieces
with an invisible scissors
on the platform of distance and speed

Actually, we needn’t
to probe the origin of time
Because it doesn’t have
the so-called beginning at all
Also we won’t ask
where its home is
Because in the vast space
it is equal to infinity
Time is the heart in darkness
Each of its beat

is like a lightning
It is the bridge of the past, today and the future
Be sure, this isn’t God’s will
but seems as if an absolute truth
When time leaves us
it will never return

All lives, thoughts and legacies
dwell in the palace of time
O, time!
A most just judge
It tries lies
and upholds justice also
It is it, at the last moment
that always changes the forms of existence
of all kinds of spirits and matter
It is always born in death
and always dies with birth
It contains all
but it is beyond all
If there is really something immortal
in the world
I am sure: It is time!
